Yes, today is Columbus Day. And you may not think about it, but lots of things are named after Columbus. British Columbia. Cities across the US and the world. Even a rose varietal.  There's certainly enough lauding of him already.

So on this fine day let us hold up the foodways of another Christopher: Christopher George Latore Wallace, AKA The Notorious B.I.G., AKA Biggie Smalls, AKA Big Poppa. He used to eat sardines for dinner, so that is exactly what I did tonight.
